The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between Snowmotion and the visitor. Anyone who uses this website and/or makes a booking as a member agrees to the conditions set out below. Not reading the terms and conditions does not invalidate them.
Legal Ownership and Copyright
This website and its content are the property of C.D. Snowmotion Sierra Nevada and Pablo García Ruiz (Snowmotion School), hereinafter Snowmotion. Unless authorization is granted or expressly stated, any transmission, assignment, sale, loan and/or public display of this website is strictly prohibited. The information on this website may only be used as a guide and Snowmotion is not responsible for any lack of accuracy, effectiveness or misunderstandings.
Snowmotion reserves the right to modify the website without prior notice and without limitation. Individuals or companies providing information to Snowmotion or submitting it through contact channels commit that the content is truthful and does not infringe any Intellectual Property Law.
Snowmotion rejects any contractual or non-contractual liability with the person or company that uses this website and that may cause any damage of any kind due to computer viruses or any type of computer elements.
Member bookings for trips in Sierra Nevada
The purchase of booking places is subject to its description on the website and promotional brochures. We will take all possible measures to ensure that descriptions are correct and that the trips match the plan as closely as possible. Planned schedules may vary due to unforeseen weather, injury of a member and/or external situations beyond the sports club/school.
We are not responsible for cancellations notified with less than 48 hours' notice, nor for possible loss of students' equipment.
Suspension of trips
We reserve the right to suspend the trip in the event of adverse weather conditions or low participation.

Personal data
The personal data collected in the registration is integrated into a personal data file declared with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, in order to carry out proper management according to the purpose for which they were provided. Users who have provided personal data may exercise their rights of access, opposition, rectification and cancellation established by Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December, by sending their request by email to contacto@snowmotion.es
Confidentiality
Snowmotion guarantees the confidentiality of information related to personal data communicated by users and adopts the necessary measures according to the state of technology. Images taken during the ski day may be used solely and exclusively to promote other activities of the Snowmotion sports club and Pablo García Ruiz (Snowmotion School).
Specific Conditions
Ski/Snowboard lessons
The price of lessons and courses includes ski/snowboard lessons, depending on the chosen modality:
Courses for individuals and groups
These Specific Conditions bind the parties and form part of the contract. Matters not specifically regulated therein shall be governed by the provisions of the Decree on Schools and sports clubs.
Courses for school groups
They will be planned directly with the School and will take place from 10:00 to 13:00 (3 hours of ski/snow per day) or from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 13:45 to 15:15 (4.5 hours of ski/snow per day) depending on the case. The School may request a schedule change, always subject to availability.
Accommodation in multi-day courses
The maximum ratio included in the offer for school courses is 8 students per ski/snowboard instructor. School groups will have an equivalent number of instructors to organize the level and modality they wish to hire. For example, for both 36 and 40 participants, the group will have 5 ski/snow instructors available. To hire extra courses or levels, do not hesitate to request a tailor-made quote. Changes from Ski Courses to Snowboard Courses and vice versa will not be accepted unless the new choice is communicated to SNOWMOTION at least five days before the arrival date and always subject to availability.
The price includes accommodation in rooms from double to six-bed with private bathroom. Half-board basis includes dinner on the arrival day and ends with breakfast on the departure day. The price also includes a picnic bag to be collected at breakfast or in Borreguiles. If, due to availability at the time of booking, we cannot offer the requested room type, the customer may book another with more beds by paying the corresponding supplement for unoccupied beds. Rooms can be used from 17:00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 10:00 on the day of departure.
Not attending the first scheduled lesson, as well as any other, will be considered a tacit waiver of the enjoyment of those lessons. If, due to closure of the Ski Resort, the customer cannot enjoy any of the contracted lessons, SNOWMOTION will offer the possibility of making up those hours at an alternative time if possible.
Prices
Published prices include Value Added Tax (VAT).
Levels and course availability
Ski
Three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Beginner level will only be available in High Season Courses.
Snow
From 26/12. One level only: Beginner. Only available in High Season Courses.
Equipment rental
The price of equipment rental includes complete ski/snowboard equipment, comprising the following items:
Ski equipment
- Boots
- Skis
- Bindings
- Poles
For school group courses, ski and snowboard equipment also includes a helmet. All equipment is delivered in perfect condition for use, therefore the customer is responsible for returning it in the same condition. In case of loss, theft or misplacement of the equipment, the CUSTOMER shall pay SNOWMOTION the replacement cost or, where appropriate, compensation for the corresponding amount, according to the rates published in the rental shop.
Deposit
When formalizing the booking of the tourist package, the customer will deposit into the account provided by SNOWMOTION a percentage of the total amount according to the booking channel, and must pay the remaining amount before the contracted start date. Otherwise, SNOWMOTION reserves the right to cancel the booking.
Assignment of booking
The contracting party of the tourist package may assign their booking free of charge to a person who meets the required conditions. The assignment must be communicated in writing to SNOWMOTION at least 5 days before the contracted start date. The assignor and the assignee will be jointly liable to SNOWMOTION for the full payment of the package price and any additional expenses caused by the assignment.
Skipasses
The skipass price includes the cost of skipasses provided by CETURSA SIERRA NEVADA, S.A. Loss of this disposable skipass before the end of its use will incur an additional reprint fee to be requested and paid directly at Cetursa ticket offices.
Refunds
In the event the Resort does not open by decision of CETURSA SIERRA NEVADA, S.A., SNOWMOTION will refund affected customers the total amount paid or provide a voucher to be redeemed another day for the same booking amount.
Refunds for non-use of skipasses
A skipass of any type that has been used cannot be refunded, partially or totally, under any circumstances.
If during the operation of the Resort, for safety reasons or other justified causes, the management is forced to close facilities and slopes to the public, this does not necessarily oblige the refund of the skipass amount (Article 9 of Cetursa Facilities Use Rules).
Refunds for non-use of all or some days of the contracted services will be carried out by re-rating, invoicing the service actually used and applying the corresponding rate. For the Family Formula Offer, re-rating will be made taking as reference the net of two individual days or the PVP of one day, if the skipasses have been used less than 3 days.
For the SCHOOL, CAMP and SIERRA NEVADA TRIPS programme, if none of the services are used on any of the days, re-rating will be carried out taking as reference the rate of the same programme.
For the SCHOOL, CAMP and SIERRA NEVADA TRIPS programme, if any service of the package has been used on any of the valid days, no amount will be refunded, understanding the rate is special, non-breakdown and non-refundable by individual services.
Exclusions
The published price does not always include:
Round-trip transport from the origin to Sierra Nevada, which, if not expressly specified, will be borne by the customer.
However, SNOWMOTION has a Civil Liability policy subscribed with the insurer HISCOX.
In any case, failure to show up or voluntary non-use of any contracted services will not entitle the customer to any refund. SNOWMOTION will not provide any refund if Cetursa announces that slopes are open.
Not included in the price
- Recommended clothing for skiing.
- Transport within the Resort, except lifts.
- Travel assistance insurance policy.
Cancellations
CLUB TRIPS AND CAMPS:
- If cancellation or modification occurs up to 30 days before the contracted start date: 5% of the total amount of reserved services.
- If cancellation or modification occurs between 29 and 10 days before the contracted start date: 30% of the total amount of reserved services.
- If cancellation or modification occurs between 9 and 2 days before the contracted start date: 50% of the total amount of reserved services.
- If cancellation or modification occurs the day before or on the same day the booking starts, SNOWMOTION will retain 100% of the total amount of reserved services.
PRIVATE LESSONS AND GROUP COURSES:
Ski or snowboard lessons cancelled 3 or more days before the start date will receive a full refund.
Lessons cancelled less than 3 days before the start but more than 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund of the total amount.
Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the start will incur 100% cancellation fees.
All cancellations or changes must be confirmed in writing via WhatsApp or email.
Cancellations by phone only are not accepted.
Cancellations due to adverse weather conditions when the resort remains open will not be refunded unless the involved instructors also agree (for example, when small children have booked lessons).
If the resort is closed due to adverse weather conditions, a full refund will be provided for the contracted services amount. If lessons cannot take place due to changes in regulations or Covid-19 restrictions, a full refund will be provided at any time up to the arrival date. SNOWMOTION reserves the right to request medical documents or other official proof before making a refund.
For any duly justified reason related to Covid-19, a full refund will be made regardless of when the booking is cancelled.
COVID-19 protocol
Activity participants commit to comply with the measures and recommendations described here.
If a temperature check shows fever symptoms, it will not be possible to carry out the activity and we will proceed to an immediate refund.
Snowmotion is not responsible for possible infections, illnesses or injuries that may have occurred during ski and snowboard trips, but is responsible for complying with the guidelines established in the protocol indicated above.
Data privacy
In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on Personal Data Protection, we inform you that the personal data of customers collected at the time of booking will be incorporated into an automated file created and maintained by SNOWMOTION, called "Reservas de Clientes". The customer has the right to access, rectify, cancel or oppose the processing of their data, for which they must complete the form available on the website www.snowmotion.es, Privacy Policy section, and send it by mail to:

Acceptance
The booking of the Ski/Snowboard package implies full acceptance by the customer of these Specific Conditions.
Validity
These Specific Conditions will be valid from their publication until the end of the ski/snow season, being binding during this period. Any changes made during their validity will be valid provided they are communicated to the customer 48 hours prior to the date of formalizing the booking.
Modifications
Booking modifications affecting date changes will be treated the same as a cancellation.
Complaints
SNOWMOTION has a standard complaint form available to customers at the establishment. SNOWMOTION is affiliated with the Consumer Arbitration System, so any dispute with customers will be resolved by the corresponding Consumer Arbitration Board. Nevertheless, the customer always has the right to go to the ordinary courts in case of disagreement.
